Kasey N. Skaggs Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was created in loving memory, by friends and family, as a legacy to Kasey Skaggs. Kasey was a WSU College of Nursing student who died in a tragic automobile accident on the Pullman Highway on June 5, 2009, en route to visit family and friends. Kasey was fortunate to personally experience the value of scholarship assistance, not once but twice, as a nursing student. Knowing that others had confidence in her goals and abilities to become a nurse was very rewarding, both personally and financially. Kasey was enrolled in her last semester and was scheduled to graduate in December 2009. It is through the generous giving of family and friends that this scholarship is made available.
