Hilda Boerhave Roberts Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was made available through the generous giving of Hilda and William Roberts. Hilda joined the WSU College of Nursing faculty in 1945 and was a major contributor in the establishment of the nation’s first cooperative baccalaureate degree program in nursing education. She was the first director of the Intercollegiate College of Nursing Education and a pioneer of nursing education in Eastern Washington. This endowment was created in her honor, celebrating her 37-year dedication to the College of Nursing.
