Paul A. and Barbara K. Redmond Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor Barbara K. Redmond as well as the rich history of nurses in their family. Paul’s mother was a nurse, and daughter and daughter-in law are 1980s graduates of the ICN through Eastern Washington University. Barbara graduated from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1959 and began her career as a surgical nurse. Along with raising their family in Spokane, Barbara spent much of her working career volunteering with the House of Charities for a span of 20 years. This scholarship honors her commitment and compassion for nursing.
