Emma Walther Neusse Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was made available through the generous giving of Colonel Henry J. Neusse in memory of his mother Emma Walther Neusse. Colonel Neusse, an alumnus of Washington State University, felt very strongly that no one who had the intelligence and will to succeed should be denied a college education. His mother always wanted to be a nurse, but remained a homemaker with an abiding interest in nursing and the ideal of public service. Henry had enough health care experiences in his own life to fully appreciate the importance of the nursing profession, and dedicating the scholarship to his mother seems like a wonderful way to preserve her memory as well.
