Mary M. Miller Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established in loving memory of Mary M. Miller through the Inland Northwest Community Foundation. Mary graduated from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1963. She and her husband raised three sons in Priest River and Salmon, Idaho. She returned to Spokane in 2005. She served the sick with her nursing skills and her gentle spirit for four decades. Mary loved children, sports, classical and devotional music, baking, reading, films, and board games. She was most at peace in Glacier National Park, astride cross country skis. Mary passed in 2012.
