Spokane Central Lions Club Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Spokane Central Lions Club. The Club was chartered in 1922 and adheres to their mission, “in the bonds of international friendship, service-minded members of the Spokane Central Lions Club lead their community through service to visually and hearing impaired, youth, and diabetes awareness.” The Lions Club upholds a rich tradition of assisting high school and college students with scholarship funding. One particular area of scholarship interest has been the support of local nursing students, specifically those enrolled at WSU College of Nursing.
