The Vercheres LaRocque EWU Nursing Endowed Scholarship

The funding of this scholarship comes from the Eastern Washington University Foundation. This scholarship was made available through the generous giving of Miss Marguerite Leeper and her brothers, Rod and Rene LaRocque. It was established in honor of their mother, Vercheres LaRocque. It was the care and concern of the nurses during her stay in a nursing home that inclined Miss Leeper to set up a fund for the education of nurses.
