Welcome to the Washington State University College of Nursing Scholarship website!

Numerous scholarships have been established by donors, friends, and alumni who are committed to the education of Cougar nurses. You must be currently enrolled and taking courses as an undergraduate or graduate student at WSU College of Nursing to be eligible to apply. The College of Nursing scholarship awards are granted bi-annually for fall and spring semesters only.

Below you will find a listing of all scholarships available to nursing students. To apply for scholarships you must:

• Sign in with your WSU Network ID (user name and password). This is the same login as myWSU. The sign on button is located at the top right of this screen.

• If you previously applied for scholarship support through Academic Works your application is still on file. Please update your application with relevant information, including re-entering/updating your reference provider. The system will then regenerate a new request to the person you identified. If you don’t re-enter a new name/email, last year’s reference will be used for evaluation purposes.

• Complete the General Application under “Profile Information.” After you have completed your General Application, the system will automatically match you to ALL scholarships you are eligible for based on the information you provided in your application and your academic record.

• Click on Opportunities/Recommended to see if there are any other scholarships that you may be eligible for (there may be none). Complete any supplemental application(s) if needed.

• Once completed, you can submit your application by clicking “Finish and Continue.” The status of your application(s) should show “Submitted.”

IMPORTANT: You can save your application at any time by clicking “Save and Keep Editing” at the bottom of the form.

*If you are awarded a scholarship you will receive an award email sent to your WSU email address with instructions on how to claim that acceptance.
